Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26 KJV).

I have heard it said that the Holy Spirit is “salvation made easy” and I agree whole heartedly with this statement.
The Holy Spirit is our teacher,  our comforter,  our intercesor,  our prayer warrior, our helper and many other attributes he has.

Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour promised us the Holy Spirit when he spoke to  his disciples in John‬ ‭14:26‬,
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

So, the Holy Spirit was sent by almighty father to teach and remind us of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
When we are down, in pain or trouble, God whispers to us through the still small voice of his holy spirit. He comforts us, counsels,  reassures, inspires, and motivates us to be strong and courageous and not to give up.
He said he will never leave us nor foresake us. (Hebrews 13:5).

What is the best response when things do not go the way we want, or when we are feel offended and things seem to be falling apart? The best response is to call upon God through prayer, and he will minister to us through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Some people pray fiery prayers, raining down fire and brimstone on their offenders and we know very well that God does not answer such prayers.

I have learnt over the years, when I feel offended and my flesh desires revenge, I turn to God and pray in the heavenly language (in tongues), through the power of the Holy Spirit and this helps me a lot.
When we pray in tongues we will not pray amiss because the holy spirit prays for us according to the will of God.

The Holy Spirit is powerful,  he comforts  us and intercedes for us in our time of need with groanings. He helps us when we do not know how to pray or how to respond in awkward situations.

In the book of Ephesians we are told not to grief the Holy Spirit.
It is important to remain in harmony with the Holy Spirit always.
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption”. (Ephesians‬ ‭4:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

Let the Holy Spirit fill your heart and mind today with truth and love in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
