Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour is risen. Alleluia!

He rose from the dead,  his tomb is empty. (Luke24:6).

Death has no hold upon him, and because he is risen, we have the hope of eternal life in him.
We have the joy and privilege of spending eternity with him in heaven if we obey his word, follow his plan and purpose for our lives and endure to the end.

He went to the cross for us.
He shed his blood to purchase us for the Father and wash away our sins.
Anyone who does not know him yet, all you have to do is accept his finished work on the cross and receive him as your Lord and Saviour. Invite him int your heart today.

If you reflect on the great sacrifice of the cross and ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding,  you will know that it was not an easy journey.

As humans when we are falsely accused we find it difficult to bear.  We would go to any length to prove our innocence.

In the case of our Master,  Redeemer and Saviour, Jesus Christ, he did not even defend himself before Pontius Pilate.

And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.” (Matthew 27:12-14 KJV‬).

He kept quiet and endured the pain of abuse and insults from religious leaders, political leaders and unbelievers for our sakes.
Like a Lamb led to the slaughter he did not open his mouth.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth“. (Isaiah 53:7 KJV‬).

The love the father has for us that made him subject his only begotten son to such torture and torment for people who are stiffnecked and unrepentant is unfathomable.

As the whole world celebrate the remembrance of Jesus death and resurrection,  may we grasp the full essence of his sacrifice on the cross of calvary.

May we determine to follow him to the end in all truth and sincerity, regardless of the pain and tribulations of this world.
It will be worth it at last.  Because the sufferings of this life is nothing compared to the glory that shall be revealed. ‭

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us“. (Romans 8:18 KJV‬)

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Be strengthened in your faith.
Please do not give up and do not succumb to the enemy’s deception.
Know that God loves you always and has your best interest at heart. Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit is your comforter.

Anyone who does not know Jesus Christ yet, all you have to do is invite him into your heart today. Accept his finished work on the cross and receive him as your Lord and Saviour.  God bless you.
