“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. (Isaiah 36:3).

When you focus your mind on God almighty and put your trust in him, he will give you his perfect peace.

Jesus told us in John 14, not to be troubled because the peace he gives is not like the world gives.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  (John 14:27 KJV‬).

This means we can have peace even in the midst of storms, because we know and believe in God and trust in his power and ability to calm the storm.

‭In  the book of Jeremiah 29:11 the  Lord said,  “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.“

So it does not matter how bad the situation may be. It does not matter how the storm is raging.
God almighty is able to calm it and put an end to it.

In verse 4 of Isaiah 26, we are told, 
“Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” (Isaiah 26:4 KJV‬).
