Are you going through trials and tribulations at present?
The word of God for you today is “Be not afraid“.


Remember the story of the children of Israel under the leadership of Joshua when they were overwhelmed by their enemies round about. Their enemies were so many that they were described as being like the sand on the seashore.

“And they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.” (Joshua 11:4 KJV).


But the Lord himself who is a great warrior in battle spoke to Joshua and told him not to be afraid.

“And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.” (Joshua 11:6 KJV).

Just as the Lord spoke to Joshua so it came to pass. The Lord fought for Israel and defeated their enemies and they had rest on every side.

“So Joshua took the whole land, according to all that the LORD said unto Moses; and Joshua gave it for an inheritance unto Israel according to their divisions by their tribes. And the land rested from war.” (Joshua 11:23 KJV).

The Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8).

He will fight your battles for you and your enemies will be defeated, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.


Remember the battle belongs to God and victory is sure. Do not be afraid,  Do not give up,  only be faithful and obedient to the word of God and your victory is guaranteed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.


You have no reason to worry as long as you are serving the Lord God almighty through his son Jesus Christ.
Rest in the Lord and enjoy his peace, your victory is sure in the mighty name of Jesus. Shalom
