The world we live in, appear chaotic at present because of all that is going on around us. These things are enough to cause fear and anxiety, but the word of God tells us not to fear.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10 KJV).

God’s word of comfort and assurance to us his children is, “fear thou not”
We do not need to be afraid because God is with us and he promised to strengthen, help, and uphold us with his great right hand of righteousness.

In Matthew 24, Jesus spoke to his disciples about the events that will take place before his second coming.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake“.  (Matthew 24:4-9 KJV)

Presently there are wars, rumors of war, earthquakes, hurricane, famines, and other forms of natural disasters happening all over the world.

These are truly endtime events. Just as Jesus Christ spoke to his disciples,
we are seeing these things unfolding before our very own eyes.
These events should be enough to convince even the most hardened skeptic to believe that there is a God in heaven and his word must surely come to pass.

What are we to do then?
This is not a time to become fearful and anxious but rather it is a great time to intensify our prayers for our fellow believers that we may stand firm to the end. Also, a time to pray for  the nations of the world  especially the unsaved and for those who are vulnerable.
We should use every given opportunity to point people to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth“. (1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV).

This should be a time of prayer and supplication, free from worry and anxiety as we are told in the book of Philippians chapter 4,
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus“. (Philippians 4:6-7 KJV).

This is a time to draw closer to the Lord,  and a time to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and every other thing he will add unto us according to his word in Matthew 6:33.

Whatever you are going through today, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender  it all to him.  He is always eager, willing, and ready to help you overcome.
He will give you the grace and strength to go through it and come out victoriously.

Do not be afraid.  Always remember that no hair will fall from your head without the knowledge of God and his permission.
Instead of worrying let us rather unite our hearts and minds in prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Shalom.
