As the world seems to be thrown into chaos, by wars, rumours of wars, and natural disasters all over the place, with persecution of christians increasing in different parts of the world, it would seem easy to be drawn into all the chaos and confusion resulting in worry and anxiety.
Some may question where God is in the face of all these, but as children of God, we should remember that God is not the author of confusion but a God of peace and love.
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” (1Corinthians 14:33 KJV).

God is very much in control.
He is concerned about our well-being and our peace of mind.
That is why Jesus said in John 14:27 KJV, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
The peace that God gives is different from what the world calls peace.

Some people may be tempted to think that God does not care about what is happening, but that is far from the truth.
Jesus said to his disciples in John 16:33,
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

That should be comforting to know that our battles have been fought and won by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
He said that his followers will have tribulation in this world, but also added that we should be of good cheer because he has overcome the world.
We do not need to worry but rather we should trust God and his ability to protect and provide for us.

According to Isaiah 26:3, God will keep us in perfect peace as long as our thoughts are fixed on him.
Paul wrote in Romans 8:18,  that the sufferings we are going through in this world is not worth comparing with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

God has great surprises for us. We should look forward to that with confidence and great expectations.
The peace that God gives surpasses all human understanding and will guard our hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.  (Philippians 4:7 KJV).

Always bear in mind that our heavenly father cares about our feelings and what we are going through. He loves us so much, that was why he sent Jesus Christ to die for us. (John 3:16).
Even while we were yet in sin and unrepentant, Jesus died for us. (Romans 5:8).
That is how much the father loves and cares about us.
Do not ever doubt the love God has for you. Trust him always and worship him.
