Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. Psalm 68:19 KJV.
The Lord truly loads us with benefits on a daily basis. He is our burden bearer and our Savior.
He is a loving father who cares about his children.
Jesus said in Luke 11:11 KJV.
“If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?”
A true and loving father will do everything in his power to provide for his family.
God is greater than man, his love exceeds that of man. That is why he is our provider and our sustainer.
Ephesians 1:3 says,
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ“
The Lord provides us with both physical and spiritual blessings. There is no lack in him.
There is no need to doubt the faithfulness of God. It is because of his mercies that we are not destroyed.
In Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV we read,
“It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness.”
The faithfulness of God is great and new every morning.
Where would we be without God’s grace and mercy?
I love reading the entire Psalm 103, but here I will highlight verses 1-3 which said, “Bless the LORD, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases.”
The Lord not only loads us with benefits but he forgives our sins and heals our diseases.
Is it not exciting to worship God for who he is?
When we worship God, we do it conscientiously not just for the benefits we shall receive but we it for his majesty.
We are told to worship God in the beauty of holiness and give him the glory that is due unto his name. (Psalm 29:2).
We worship God because he deserves our worship, he is holy and he is worthy to be praised.
When we praise God we learn to rely completely on him. We also bring our concerns and our requests before him knowing that he will answer us.
Just as Psalm 55:22 said, “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”
The same was repeated in 1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you.”
So, whatever situation you are facing today, whatever burden you are carrying, bless the name of the Lord, worship him and rejoice in the fact that he is aware of
your situation and cares for you, and has the solution you need, because with him all things are possible.
Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-29, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
Call upon the Lord today, he will hear and answer you.
You are blessed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Shalom.
