Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”Luke 2:10-11. NKJV.

In the stillness of the night, heaven spoke hope into human fear, announcing a joy that would change the entire world forever.

This Bible verse represents a divine announcement of hope, peace, and salvation through the birth of Jesus Christ.
It is God’s good news of great joy that overcomes fear and is meant for all people.

The angel of the Lord spoke to the shepherds, who were ordinary and humble people, about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Although, they did not understand the angel’s message clearly at the time, they still went in obedience to see for themselves, the newborn baby, Jesus.
This is a reminder that God’s message is not reserved for the elite, but for everyone. God can use anyone he chooses.

Do not be afraid” addresses the human response to the supernatural and to uncertainty. God replaces fear with joy.
Good tidings” means gospel, good news that changes lives.
Great joy” points to lasting joy deep in the soul, not temporary happiness.
All people” reveals God’s inclusive love and His plan of salvation for the entire world.

Salvation is for all without exception but you must accept Jesus Christ first as your Lord and Savior.

What are you afraid of today?

This verse reminds us that God’s presence brings reassurance, not intimidation. The same good news announced to the shepherds is still alive today, joy has come, and it is meant for you. No matter your situation, God’s joy is available to you.
Cast your cares, worries, fears and anxieties upon him, open your heart and receive the joy  of the Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
